Cherry Blossom Rally

Due to weather conditions this winter, the field is a mess, so the rally has been cancelled. A viable alternative was not located. A group of people has decided to get together at Cherry Hill Park which is at the corner of the Beltway and I-95 North. You can find the discussion of this “Cherry Hill Rally” by looking here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f289/2010-cherry-blossom-rally-61890.html The “Cherry Hill Rally”, however, is not sponsored by the WDCU or the WBCCI. This rally is not the CBR, so it will have it’s own agenda. Planning for this rally is an ongoing thing. Check it out if you want a substitute for the CBR.

Come help us celebrate the last CBR at Roger’s Farm! It’s our usual season opener and has been improved upon every year. We gather at Rogers Farm which is a horse farm in Upper Marlboro. We camp in a field in a large semi-circle. Limited water and electric are provided. A large heated tent protects us from the elements and provides plenty of room for meals and socializing. We have a campfire if weather permits. The farm is about 20 minutes from the Metro station which can whisk you into Washington D.C. without the hassle of D.C. traffic and parking problems.
