Stephen Loden has volunteered to be our 2nd Vice President, and John Gilliland has moved from Trustee to 3rd Vice President. Thanks to both for volunteering! We now have an open Trustee position, so if you would like to volunteer please contact Linda or RJ.

Also, the Lake Glory at Knoebels rally will be a buddy rally, so get those friends signed up!

Harley and John are hosting this year’s Installation Rally at the George Washington Birthplace National Monument in Colonial Beach, Virginia. We won’t have electric service, but generators are permitted, and we will have daisy chain water. As always, keep your eye on the rally schedule.

We’ve updated the Rally Schedule with information about the Region 2 Rally in Pennsylvania and the Hudson Rally in September in Rhinebeck, NY. Also, we are looking for volunteers to host a rally in May. Please contact Linda Bell or RJ Marquette if you are interested in hosting a rally.

Stuart Natof

I’m sorry to report that Stuart Natof passed away today after suffering a stroke several days ago.

Words can’t express how sad this is – Stuart was a highlight of every rally. We will miss him.

Margaret has requested no flowers. She asks that donations be made either to Habitat for Humanity or to a local hospice instead. You can send cards to their place in Derwood, Maryland (mail will be forwarded automatically until she returns to Maryland).

There will be a memorial service in Florida, and one in Maryland on or about May 2, which is Stuart’s birthday. We will post details as we get them.

2013 Capitol Kickoff Rally Registration Form

It’s time to start thinking about the 2013 Capitol Kickoff Rally. This is a buddy rally.

This year, because of our repeated visits to the campground, we are getting a 25% discount on the sites, and we’ve also managed to lower the rally fee. There is more information in this thread on Airstream Forums.
